If this little long gun looks familiar, it's because you have probably seen in at flea markets and antique shops through out America. The Model 1795 Springfield Armory musket has been the official insignia of the United States Army's infantrymen since 1924. It has the distinction of being one of the first firearms produced on the newly self-governing American soil (hello, Springfield, MA!) and was an essential item in the 1804-1806 Lewis and Clark Expedition.
The fine detail on this piece drew me in and has yet to let me go, truly a model in miniature. The grace and length of each musket makes for an elegant bar-style necklace with a wicked surprise. These make a great gift for historians, gun-enthusiasts, US Army spouses, or just a person whom you consider a real straight-shooter.
This item is generally in stock and will be shipped USPS First Class (with tracking!) from our studio in Providence, RI.
