JEWELRY CARE.
GENERAL: With Care Jewelry wants your new purchase to be a friend for life. All of our items are handmade under an exacting eye and by fingers that use centuries of traditional metalworking techniques. To get the best out of your jewelry, it is important to treat it well. We recommend keeping your jewels away from harsh chemicals and/or environments (swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs) as well as avoiding direct exposure to lotions, perfumes, hairspray, precious face oils, or other substances that might impact the surface of the metal. 

A quick wash with mild soap and warm water should keep your purchase sparkling! We've also enclosed a small polishing cloth so that you can keep your look shiny and new at home or on the go.

And, while we are at it, be sure to remove all items of jewelry before exercise, working with machinery, or participating in sports. Please. Don't make me google the term "degloving" for you.

BRASS, BRONZE, COPPER: All three of these metals will develop a beautiful and classical patina when worn for long periods of time. To return them to their former glory, washing them with some warm, soapy water will help. Pat dry and shine with a polishing cloth.

Base metals are also very easy to clean at home using no shortage of improvised methods and pantry items. Lemon with salt, white vinegar, or plain-old-ketchup-out-of-the-bottle are some tried and true methods of gently cleaning brass, bronze, and copper.

STERLING SILVER: Silver will tarnish due to repeated exposure to skin, air, and moisture. A dark patina will settle into the crevices and highlights will appear where the piece is repeatedly touched or worn. This can be a very desirable thing! To remove any unwanted patina, the jewelry may be polished with a paste made from baking soda and water, dried, and buffed. You may also give it a quick soap and water bath or, if you are one the go, a quick buffing with a polishing cloth should be just fine!

HOW DO I FIND MY RING SIZE?

It is always best to have your finger measured by a professional. Most jewelers, jewelry stores, or jewelry counters at department stores will be able to do this for you, free of charge.

I AM INTERESTED IN A CUSTOM ORDER. WHAT ABOUT THAT?

Hello, equally attractive interested party! Are you looking for a custom size or length of chain? We know all about that! However, please contact us prior to ordering to make sure that we have the materials available to fulfill your order. 

Many of our designs are available in a variety of materials however, please contact us if you are interested in ordering a piece in a different material. Production times and prices will certainly vary.

With Care will gladly work with you to create the perfect piece of jewelry based on any of our current designs. We do not, however, create knock-offs nor will we knowingly plagiarize the work of other artists. 

SHIPPING. HOW DOES THAT SHIT WORK?

All of our orders are scheduled to be shipped in 3-7 days after ordering however, many may be shipped out faster. We will immediately contact you if there is a problem or if your item is not in stock. Orders with custom elements may take longer, 1-2 weeks, before they make it to the mail. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Good craftsmanship takes time!

If your order is time sensitive, please contact us, ASAP.

Unless notified we ship all orders via USPS FIRST CLASS.

US.Domestic Shipping - First Class
Shipping takes 2-5 business days via USPS First Class Certified Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

US.Domestic Shipping - Priority
Shipping takes 2-3 business days via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.

International Shipping - Standard
Shipping normally takes 2-3 weeks, but may take longer depending on your area. All taxes, duties and customs fees associated with international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. 

All orders over $100 USD will be automatically insured.

With Care Jewelry cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you are concerned about the delivery of your order, please contact us to purchase insurance for your shipment. 
 

REPAIRS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES.

We take pride in our work but also understand that, sometimes, things break. This is why we will gladly service any With Care items that we have sold, past and present. Please email elizabeth@with-care.net with a description of the problem and a photograph to receive a price quote. (Most small repairs will be made free-of-charge, P.S.) 

Refunds and exchanges may be issued up to 7 days after receipt of product. Please make sure that the item being returned is in un-worn or "gift" condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. 

Sorry, but we are unable to return or exchange items that have been customized.
